(Engaging KS1 Computing revision quizzes to teach students in Year 1 and Year 2)
Students are introduced to computing and technology really early on, which probably explains why they’re so good at it!
Most of us know someone under the age of 8 who can connect a tablet to the internet faster than you can say “wifi”.
And these little tech whizz kids can enjoy our 20 KS1 quizzes and learn more about how computers work, the basics of programming and how to stay safe on the internet.
Even students who haven’t mastered technology yet can benefit from our quizzes. In fact, they will probably help them more! If you didn’t already know, Computing is now a part of the National Curriculum so it’s important students get a good grasp of it early on (you know, before it starts to get really complicated!). We’ll help students learn the parts of the computer and tell them how we've shifted to a more digital world. We’ve even got quizzes for those who fancy an introduction to coding! It’s refreshing too - we keep students entertained by making sure we don't give them long and boring tasks (yawn, who wants those?). Our quick-fire quizzes are great at holding students’ attention. You can play a free trial quiz to see!
One other thing - lots of parents are worried about the amount of time their little one spends looking at screens. Remember that old trick of saying “don’t watch the television for too long, your eyes will go square”? But we’re here to say a love of technology isn’t a bad thing. In fact, learning about the devices they’re using could be the first step into the world of programming and coding.
So, calling all future coding masterminds and programming whizzes. It all starts here, with a complete understanding of the basics of computing and technology.
We’ll bring the quizzes, you bring the enthusiasm.
Get stuck in you little geniuses.
