Year 1 - The Sound igh

This 'Sound igh' spelling quiz introduces KS1 children to spellings with this trigraph. All the spellings in this quiz have been taken from the National Curriculum and are recommended spellings for this age group.

Three letters can sometimes make one sound. When ‘igh’ are together it makes the ‘I’ sound. These three letters will always be in that order. Test your knowledge on spellings with the ‘igh’ sound.
