Year 2 - The Sound dge

This 'The Sound dge' spelling quiz will test KS1 children on spellings with this phoneme. The words have been taken from and added to those in the National Curriculum.

The sound ‘j’ is made by ‘j’, ‘g’ and ‘dge’. This quiz will ask you to spell words with this sound but only when it’s spelt with a ‘dge’. Can you find the missing words?
