This quiz addresses part of the requirements of the National Curriculum KS1 for children aged 5 and 6 in years 1 and 2 in Geography. Specifically it looks at the names and positions of some of the world's larger countries. It is one of 50 quizzes to help you understand the world around you.

There are nearly 200 countries in the world. It’s good to know the names of some of the larger, most important countries. Can you say where China is positioned on Earth, or where on the globe is India? We can’t cover every country here. All countries are important, but some are much larger than others. In this quiz, test your knowledge of some of the big countries of the world.
