Farming and Food

This quiz addresses part of the requirements of the National Curriculum KS1 for children aged 5 and 6 in years 1 and 2 in Geography. Specifically it looks at where our food comes from, for example farms, sea fishing or other sources. It is one of 50 quizzes to help you understand the world around you.

Where does your food come from? What are its sources? Fish are caught by fishing boats in the sea. But nearly all the rest of your food comes from farms. Some is from animals that are grown for meat. Other animals make milk for us to drink. A lot of your food comes from vegetables and cereals that are grown on the land. This little quiz helps you to find out a bit more about where our food comes from.
