Vocabulary - Where Am I?

You have learned an awful lot of Spanish vocabulary words at this point. Now it is time to start using them and to see how well you can use them. Therefore, this Spanish Difficult Review quiz will test you on knowing just where you are – that is, where am I?

There are no new vocabulary words to learn here so that should be a help. However, the places can be anywhere in the world, including in a country, in a state, in a building or even just in your own home. You will have to read each quiz sentence carefully to be able to find the correct place and answer the question for: Where am I?

    The first answer means market. The second answer means chapel. The third answer means theater and the last answer means office. A place where you will see computers, copy machines, desks, telephones and law books is at an office.

    If you are standing at the base of the Eiffel Tower then you are in Paris, France. France in Spanish is Francia.
  3. I am an Eskimo and I live in this.
    The first answer means loft. The second answer means igloo. The third answer means trailer and the last answer means shed. If you were an Eskimo you would be living in an igloo.
  4. From where I stand I can see a television, a sofa, a chair and a lamp. Where am I?
    The first answer means kitchen. The second answer means foyer. The third answer means living room and the last answer means pantry. If you can see a television, a sofa, a chair and a lamp you are in the living room.
  5. I am visiting the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Where am I?
    If you are visiting the Leaning Tower of Pisa you are in Pisa, Italy. Italy in Spanish is Italia.
  6. I am at the Statute of Liberty. Where am I?
    If you are at the Statute of Liberty you are in New York. New York in Spanish is Nueva York.
  7. From where I stand I can see a blackboard, textbooks, desks and students. Where am I?
    The first answer means grocery store. The second answer means bakery. The third answer means school and the last answer means concert hall. If you can see a blackboard, textbooks, desks and students then you are at a school.
  8. I am at the Kremlin. Where am I?
    If you are at the Kremlin you are in Moscow, Russia. Russia in Spanish is Rusia.
  9. I am crossing the Golden Gate Bridge. Where am I?
    If you are crossing the Golden Gate Bridge then you are in San Francisco, California.
  10. From where I stand I can see a tractor, a horse, cows and a silo. Where am I?
    The first answer means beach. The second answer means farm. The third answer means valley and the last answer means canyon. If you can see a tractor, a horse, cows and a silo you are at a farm.
