Writing is a great way to stimulate the mind. It makes you focus on what you are doing. You can read lessons on Spanish and you can take these quizzes, but until you start writing, Spanish will always remain difficult. You must train the brain to think in Spanish. Writing and associating things with their Spanish name is the best and fastest way to really learn and then become fluent in another language.
In this quiz and its sister quiz, i.e., Writing: English to Spanish (2), you will be given a series of ten sentences that are written in English. Your quiz task is to look at the English given sentence and then write down the Spanish translation. Once you have written it down, see if one of the four answers matches what you wrote. If not, find the correct translation and then write the correct translation down. If your translation matches up to the correct answer, then move on to the next sentence.
You need to be honest with yourself in doing this task. The sentences are short so it shouldn’t take you too long. You do need to be careful with spelling and punctuations marks, gender and singular or plural. So, if you are ready, then begin the quiz with pen and paper in hand!
